The Swan Food Project was founded in 2014 to improve the diet of swans in Worcester’s swan sanctuary, to improve their environment and to help people learn about and understand swans. The Project is run entirely by volunteers.
In the long run, our goal is an organisation able to ensure the welfare of swans in Worcester fifty or a hundred years from now, and beyond!
The Swan Food Project is a not-for-profit organisation. It has a Constitution, public liability insurance, its own bank account and annual accounts. It is working towards becoming a registered Charity. It is not run or financed by the City Council and volunteers do not receive any payment.
